Rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Sergei Glagolev paid a working visit to "VOENMEH" named after. D.F. Ustinov. Sergei Nikolayevich plunged into the history of the university on a tour of the museum complex, walked around the campus, learned how the educational process is organized and what developments university scientists are proud of.

June 26 is traditionally celebrated in many countries of the world as the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. This date was established by the UN General Assembly as a sign of determination to create a drug-free world society. On the eve of a memorable day at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov hosted the Interuniversity scientific and practical conference with international participation "Actual problems of drug addiction prevention in higher educational institutions."

It is during the student's time that civic consciousness and ideological conviction are formed.

For the 11th time, the rating of the best universities in the country was presented by the RAEX agency (RAEX-Analytics). BSTU im. Shukhov took 57th place. When compiling the rating, the quality of education, the demand for graduates by employers, and the research activities of the university were taken into account. Compared to last year, Technolog has improved its position, moving up one point (2021 is 58th).

President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin met with young entrepreneurs, scientists and specialists at the Technograd innovation and educational complex at VDNKh. BSTU named afetr V.G.Shukhov was represented by Natalya Altynnik, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Director of the Small Technological University.

Ekaterinburg hosted the II Forum of Rectors of Universities of Russia and Kyrgyzstan. Representatives of governments and heads of universities of both countries discussed issues of scientific and educational cooperation.

At the end of last week, the delegation of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov, headed by Rector Sergei Glagolev, paid a return visit to the Donbass State Technical Institute. During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in the areas of education, innovation, research and information.

On June 2-3, Moscow hosted the International Forum of People's Diplomacy, dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly. It was attended by representatives of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov: Vice-Rector for International Affairs Professor Ruslan Lesovik and Deputy Director of the Center for International Education and Cooperation Professor Yaser Seyfiddin Allakham.

In Rostov-on-Don, a solemn ceremony of presenting diplomas on advanced training to history teachers from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics took place. The head of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science Valery Falkov thanked the teachers for their respect for history and world traditions, which has become especially important in modern conditions.
