The virtual tour
Due to The Virtual Tour project of BSTU you can tour the university now without quitting your house. Panoramas of major objects on the territory and within the halls are located at the address tour.bstu.ru
Viewing angle of each panorama is 3600c across that allows the feeling of presence.
Panoramas are interactive; it means that it is possible to rotate the imaginary camera and to change the point of view using a mouse. All panoramas are connected with each other thus one can navigate from one place to another on the territory. You can navigate from one panorama to another, clicking the tag objects selected.
The virtual tour does not only give the chance to applicants from other cities to get acquainted with the university, it also serves as an effective presentation of the BSTU to guests during some events.
Moreover, the project will even be interesting for students as it affords the view of places on the territories, with access physical limited, for example, the boiler room, thermal centre and solar power device.
