This is the first visit of Kingdom of Morocco delegation to the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. The visit took place on September 23rd .

Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has initiated a poll among international students within the framework of science and research works on “Improving quota distribution for enrollment of foreign nationals” as assigned by the Government of the Russian Federation.

International students got together to create a carting team. The competition will take place on September 13 and will be dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov.

On September 13, 2014,"Virage" car sport complex will held a Car festival in honor of the 60th anniversary of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov. We remind that the competition will be attended by teams from all institutes of the University, as well as team from Belgorod Institute of engineering and economics and preparatory faculty for foreign citizens.

The program of stay in Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov within the framework of annual summer language school Studyand leisure, organized by the Preparatory faculty for foreign students (PFF) has been completed. This time the faculty hosted young people from France, Egypt, Brazil and Uganda. Under the program every weekday during a month they had an in-depth Russian language study program, including phonetics through music, watching videos, as well as sightseeing tours at weekends, which enabled them to become better acquainted with the rich culture of our region.

On August 1, 2014 the students from Benin celebrated their Independence Day. The students organized an exhibition and told about the geography of their home country, its climate, history, customs and traditions.

The most active students from Power Engineering Institute, who organized numerous interesting social events throughout the academic year were sent by the university management to Serbia.

The race, which started on June 11, 2014 was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, initiated by the rector of the University and a regional office of "United Russia" party. On July 29, 2014 BSTU management, faculty staff and students of the university greeted the traveler, who had covered a total distance of 25,000 kilometers.

The summer students program «Study+Leisure» at Belgrord Shukhov state technological university is coming to an end. Within several weeks our guests were studying Russian at the preparatory faculty for foreign students. Apart from auditorium classes they got acquainted with the places of interest in Belgorod and the region. The purpose of the program prepared by the organizers was to give a complete idea concerning the past and present of Belgorodia.

On July 24 2014 the mayor of the city of Belgorod Sergey Bozhenov met the president of a European higher educational institution prof. Jürgen Kretschmann and Mr. Karl Kleinberg, one of chief specialist. Prospects for cooperation between technological universities of both cities were discussed at the meeting.
