Representatives of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov and the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, paid a working visit to Jordan. The trip resulted in several important decisions and agreements.

Head of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science Valery Falkov held a working meeting with a delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic led by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Bassam Ibrahim, President of Damascus University Mohammad Osama Al-Jabban, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Syrian Foreign Ministry Akel Mahfoud.

BSTU named after V.G.Shukhovis extended remote education until November 5. The corresponding order was signed today by Acting Rector Yevgeny Yevtushenko.

BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was visited by a delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Second Secretary of the Department of Political Analysis of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation Ruslan Shaimaganbetov, 3rd Secretary, Vice-Consul of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation Darkhan Mamanov.

On October 18, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov celebrates his birthday.

On the eve of BSTU named after VG Shukhov was visited by a delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting was chaired by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Lesovik Ruslan Valeryevich.

Employees of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - Director of the Center for International Education and Cooperation Yevgeny Kapustin, Director of the Department of Educational Policy Yevgeny Doroganov, Director of the Institute for the Organization and Management of Enrollment Sergei Bulgakov and Head of the Department of Construction and Municipal Economy Lyudmila Suleymanova held a teleconference with colleagues from the Ferghana Polytechnic Institute.

Kazan hosts events related to the meeting of the Presidium of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association in the Higher Education System. They started the day before and will last until October 8. Among the participants - the rector of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov Sergei Glagolev.
