The commission of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation has summed up the selection of Russian universities for the “Priority 2030” competition program. It includes 106 universities from 49 cities of Russia, which will receive the basic part of the grant in the amount of 100 million rubles.

At the campus of the flagship university of the Belgorod region, an international architectural plein air started for the sixth time, which was attended by 10 artists from Syria, Egypt, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The sculptural compositions created will join the works of past years and will decorate the territory of the university student campus

Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov may become a place for the implementation of a project to create regional engineering centers in the field of additive manufacturing technologies of ROSATOM State Corporation - this was discussed during the visit of the company's delegation jointly to the Department of Economic Development of the region on September 23, 2021.

Chairman of the Council of Rectors of Universities of the Belgorod Region, Rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Sergei Glagolev took part in a gala reception on the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of Peace.

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia has completed the selection procedure for the creation of new laboratories in 2021 within the framework of the Science and Universities project. They will be created under the guidance of young and promising scientists in scientific and educational organizations - participants in world-class scientific and educational centers.

The flagship university of the Belgorod region took part in the work of the All-Russian youth scientific school "Ecological technologies of waste processing with the receipt of new materials and energy carriers." It took place at the Tver State Technical University.

The Rostov Region hosted the Rostov Youth Educational Forum of the Southern Federal District. More than 500 participants arrived in Rostov-on-Don to exchange experiences and form key professional and personal competencies.

Employees of the Department of Building Materials Science, Products and Structures of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, led by Professor Valery Lesovik, held an international webinar dedicated to science and education of the present and future.

In scientific research BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov is attended not only by university staff, but also by foreign specialists. In August, within the framework of a planned visit of Professor Giuseppe Carbone of the University of Calabria (Italy), employees of the International Research Laboratory "Intelligent Robotic Systems and Technologies" material in biomedicine ”. This project is carried out within the framework of the State Order.

On the Day of Knowledge, foreign students from the flagship university visited the Shukhov Lyceum. Such meetings with schoolchildren are traditionally held at the initiative of the administration of the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens.
