At the flagship university of the Belgorod region, the Miner's Day is held for the sixth time and every year an increasing number of students, undergraduates, graduate students and teachers of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
University Scientists Receive a Patent for Biogas Purification Device
Researchers of the Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov created a useful model, which refers to devices for separating gases by absorption and is designed to clean biogas from carbon dioxide. The device for purification of biogas was developed by the staff of the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation within the framework of the project "Development of Equipment and Improvement of the Efficiency of Gas Supply Systems Using Biogas".

The boiling point of the flagship university held a soft-lecture “Year of Science and Innovation at BSTU”. The students learned what the leading scientists of the university are doing, what kind of scientific research they pay more attention to, and were able to ask the speakers all their questions.

On the Day of Russian Science, the Belgorod State Philharmonic held a solemn event dedicated to the opening of the Year of Science and Technology in Russia. Currently, in the Belgorod region there are 5 research and production platforms of world-class scientific and educational centers "Innovative solutions in the agro-industrial complex". The REC involves leading scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences, representatives of foreign countries, scientific schools of Great Britain, Germany and India.
Rehab after COVID-19 at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov
The flagship university of the Belgorod region has a program of recovery after a coronavirus infection. There was a rehabilitation program for students and university staff before, but it was aimed solely at eliminating the consequences after suffering colds.
