If I were a queen….
This was the name of one of the competition parts of “Miss University” contest, which took place in the Students Art Center of BSTU on March 6. It became a good tradition for our University. Nine girls took part in competition of youth, femininity and beauty. The participants showed off their beauty, talent and sense of humor, taste and creativeness in competitions: “Business card” and “My hobby” and “If I were a queen” fashion show. Every participant is praiseworthy, because preparation for such prestigious competition requires strength, talent and courage. Paiva Era Patricia Anapaz de Kashtru from Angola (5th year student of Institute of Architecture and Construction, representative of Association of foreign students) deserved the “Viewers choice Award”.
Graduate School of Engineers in Ales, France - collaboration in progress
The delegation of Graduate School of Engineers (Ales, France), represented by professor Eric Garcia Diaz, the Head of the department “Construction materials science and structures in civil engineering” and Alexis Evstratov – senior scientist of the research center “Louis Leprince-Ringuet”, had a meeting with students and university stuff during two-day visit. Also they presented in detail one of the most elite technical European educational institution to the Russian colleagues.
French delegation visits the University
On February 29 - March 1 Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov received a delegation of the Graduate School of Engineers in Ales (France), represented by the project leader of "Nanostructures and functional surfaces," senior scientist at Research Center of St. Louis Leprince Ringuet (Department 'Environment and Risks ") Alexis Evstratov, and professor of engineering, head of the department "Materials and construction in civil engineering (the center of widely spread materials), Eric Garcia Diaz.
