The university hosted a regional chemical tournament among schoolchildren
On the 9th of November at the BSTU. V. G. Shukhov held an inter-regional chemical tournament among students in grades 8-10. It was attended by 6 school teams from all over the region.
Interest in chemistry. The format of the competition involves solving problems with the preparation of a presentation. Their solution involves a creative approach on the part of schoolchildren. Tournament participants gain experience in publicly presenting scientific papers and defending them in scientific controversy.
During the tournament, participants get acquainted with the teachers and institutes of BSTU. V.G. Shukhov, learn about current problems and challenges, existing science and industry.
The winner of the tournament was the team of the Belgorod Engineering Youth Boarding Lyceum. Now the guys will participate in the inter-regional chemical tournament, which will be held in Moscow in February 2020.
