In Russia the Coach’s Day has been unofficially celebrated since 1999, it was then that the Federation of Sports and Rhythmic Gymnastics of the Russian Federation came up with the initiative to allocate a special day of the year to celebrate Coach’s Day. From this moment on October 30, athletes thank their mentors for their work.
