The 10th Anniversary Festival "Our Home Is Planet Earth"
V.G. Shukhov Belgorod State Technological University (BSTU) in accordance with the event program of the Department Of Foundation Studies has hosted the international festival "Our Home — Planet Earth" for ten years.
The aim of the festival is to spark the interest of international students to Russia, its language and culture, to strengthen the status of the Russian language as a language of international communication, to form a motivation for the development of cognitive abilities of students, to popularize the Russian language, Russian literature and culture as a means of reinforcement of international humanitarian contacts.
Within the framework of the festival will be held:
1st day — Competition in the Russian language as a foreign language for international students of the Department of Foundation Studies;
2nd day — scientific workshop;
3rd day — an exhibition of national cultures, a concert, the Russian language Competition Winners Award and Workshop Award for the best report.
Dear colleagues, we are looking forward to your active involvement in the festival, its success depends on teamwork and professionalism.
We are sure that the BSTU anniversary festival will impress everyone, become a holiday for all who cherish world peace, the cultures of different peoples, and contribute to the increasing interest towards the Russian language.

Attention! Attention! Internet competition in the Speech Culture!
The School of Russian language invites all students of higher educational institutions who studies at non-philological programs to take part in the Internet Competition. If you are interested in the Russian language, you have a unique chance to test your knowledge of the Russian language and the Speech Culture.
To participate in the Competition, in the period 16.11.2015–30.11.2015 send your work via e-mail: olimpiada_kyltyra_2014@mail.ru or via fax: (4722) 30–99–19. You can download Assignments on the website of the School of Russian Language and Natural Sciences: http://pfig.bstu.ru/konkyrs. The assignments will be available from 17.11.2015.
Winners will be awarded diplomas and prizes.
