Government Award to BSTU rector Sergey Glagolev
On the twenty-first of April, state awards of the Russian Federation were given at a meeting of the Belgorod Regional Duma, for great contribution to the development of the region and successful achievements in professional activities.
The Governor of the region Evgeniy Savchenko, addressing the audience, noted that all the awardees are the flagships of the region and can serve as a good example for our everyone in Russia.Their work has contributed to the development of the Belgorod oblast and its confident progress. Also the head of the local government warmly congratulated everyone on an occasion of their professional holiday - the Day of local self-government, stressing that the role of institutions of local government in the Russian Federation is increasing from year to year. This is primarily due to the development of democracy and civil society as a whole.
Then Eugeniy Stepanovich immediately started the award giving ceremony. And the first award the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" , 2nd class" came from the hands of the Governor to the Rector of Belgorod Shukhov State Technological University, Doctor of Economics, Professor S.N. Glagolev.
