Strengthening the ties with Serbia and Montenegro
On April 19 Petar Paykovich, the Secretary General of the Association of Graduates of Soviet and Russian universities of Serbia and Montenegro came on a business visit to Belgorod Shukhov State Technological University.
At a meeting with the leadership of the University of the parties discussed the signing of an agreement on cooperation. The document suggests that in the capitals of Serbia and Montenegro - Belgrade and Podgorica will open branches - testing center for foreign nationals, where BSTU experts will take comprehensive exams in the Russian language for students wishing to study in the Russian Federation, as well as those, who intend to work here.
In addition, the parties are planning cooperation in the field of distance education. "We hope that it is going to be popular,- said Petar Paykovich. - Many citizens of Serbia and Montenegro cannot afford the trip, accommodation and training abroad due to severe economic situation in these countries, and distance learning option will solve this problem. "
In conclusion, the Secretary-General invited the leadership of the technological university to visit the University of Montenegro. The visit is scheduled for September.
It is not the first time when Mr. Petar Paykovich visits our university. In 2011, he visited our university with the delegation of the University of Pristina (Serbia). That time a cooperation agreement was signed, under which, internships, student and staff exchanges are taking place at present.
