Discussed prospects of further cooperation
Nowadays Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov has a business relations with many foreign educational institutions. We are consistently expanding the list of those universities with which cooperation is carried out in the field of science, education, student exchanges, double degree, and other areas of mutual activity.
On the March 14 delegation of university partner - the Damanhour University (Egypt) visited our university: dean of faculty of science Karolen Barkat and prof. Hussiein Motaweh. Foreign colleagues have a visit in order to consolidate the agreements and the development of partnership between the two universities.
A new impetus to the establishment of bilateral relations gave the meeting of our foreign guests and the rector of the University, Doctor of Economics, Professor S. Glagolev, which took place on the first day of the visit on 14 March 2016.
The main topic of conversation was the double degree program, which is scheduled for implementation in September of this year.
Dr. Karolen Barkat also noted that all the students sent to study in Russia, will be obliged to take the course of the Russian language. They discussed opportunity for master degree student to have one semester in Russia and second in Egypt. PhD students may use this system and obtain double diplomas.
Now a days we have already agreed on the organization of language schools, student and faculty exchange, the dissemination of culture and peculiarities of mentality of both countries.
