The Department of Educational Policy
The main objectives of the Department of Educational Policy are:
- Coordination and implementation of the work planning of structural divisions for the educational process organization and quality control of the implementation of the basic educational programs;
- Conducting regular monitoring of educational activities, monitoring the fulfillment of licensing requirements and accreditation indicators in the process of implementing the basic educational university programs;
- Development of corrective actions to eliminate identified shortcomings as a result of inspections of the educational activities at the university;
- Development and presentation of practical recommendations for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching and educational work at the university;
- Development and updating of normative and methodological documents on organizational and methodological support of the university's educational activities;
- Study, generalization and implementation of the best domestic and foreign experience in the field of modern educational technologies, forms and methods of instruction aimed at improving the quality of education;
- Ensuring the development of policies and objectives of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov in the field of quality of education;
- Coordinating the work on establishment, effective functioning maintenance and improvement of a university quality management system of the basic directions of its activity;
- Coordinating the work of structural divisions on licensing (new specializations), state accreditation and professional-public accreditation of basic educational programs;
- Increase the professional competence of academicians and university staff.
