Training ground
Institute of power engineering, information technologies and management systems has its own unique training ground with real electrical equipment, with remote control of street lighting through the Internet, where practical and laboratory classes are held.
Introductory excursions for the students of first year of power engineering department are conducted at the training ground. Also, laboratory and practical work for subjects «Electric stations and substations», «Operation of power supply systems», «Relay protection and automation of power supply systems», «Electrical systems and networks» is carried out.
