SEC MMTNEAST
The goal of the SEC is high-quality training of young specialists and highly qualified specialists in the field of physical and radiation materials science on the basis of integration of the scientific and pedagogical potential of the subdivisions of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov in doing fundamental and applied scientific research, commercialization of their results, development of new programs and methods that develop and combine fundamental scientific research and an educational process, methodological support of the educational process, development of the international cooperation.
Functions
- The SEC performs the following functions in order to solve the objectives:
- It does fundamental and applied research in the field of natural and technical sciences.
- It organizes research work of students, involving them in research conducted by SEC.
- It organizes and runs scientific seminars, conferences on topical problems of natural science.
- It participates in the development of educational and methodological support for teaching natural science courses in the field of radiation and physical material science, creation of special-purpose materials for the nuclear and aerospace industries.
- It ensures introduction of the results of the research work of the SEC in the educational process.
- It provides training (retraining) of highly qualified specialists for science-intensive branches of the real sector of the Russian economy.
