SEC “ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT”
The goal of the SEC is high-quality training of young specialists and specialists of the highest qualification in the field of the environmental protection and rational nature management based on the integration of the scientific and pedagogical potential of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, in conducting fundamental and applied scientific research, commercialization of their results, development of new programs and methods that develop and combine fundamental scientific research and educational processes, methodological support of the educational process, development of the international cooperation.
Functions
The SEC performs the following functions in order to solve the objectives:
- it does fundamental and applied research in the field of natural and technical sciences.
- it organizes research work of students, involving them in the research conducted by SEC.
- it organizes and conducts scientific seminars, conferences on topical problems of environmental protection and environmental education.
- it participates in the development of educational and methodological support of teaching natural science courses in the field of environmental protection and environmental management.
- it ensures introduction of the SEC's research results in the educational process.
- it provides training (retraining) of highly qualified specialists for science-intensive branches of the real sector of the Russian economy.
