The VI youth festival in the field of ecology and development of the Russian Federation "VuzEcoFest" has started in Russia. Its main goal is the leaders of public associations, teachers and trade unions in the field of broad development. Dozens of environmental events are held annually to improve the environment. BSTUnamed after V.G. Shukhov has been actively participating in VuzEcoFest for several years.

The Shukhov School of Digital Construction Engineering Summer School became the winner of the All-Russian competition of youth projects among educational institutions of higher education of Rosmolodezh and will receive a grant of 5.4 million rubles.

The President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhaniya met the rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov prof. Sergei Glagolev and Director of the Institute for the Organization and Management of Recruitment by Sergei Bulgakov.

The forum "From natural science literacy to the country's technological breakthrough" was held in the Moscow region. The participants of forum were teachers and directors of schools and lyceums in Russia. The forum brought together representatives of over 20 regions — more than 2.3 thousand people in person and online.

The staff of the Research Institute of Robotics and Control Systems of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov won a grant from the Russian Science Foundation in the amount of 21 million rubles to create a robot for harvesting

BSTU named after V.G.Shukhov entered the top 20 best universities in Russia in three areas of training. These are construction, ecology and chemical technologies. The Three Missions of the University rating ecosystem has been replenished with ratings of the best Russian universities in 29 areas of study. The project is supported by the Russian Union of Rectors, the operator is the Association of Rating Compilers.

Waste disposal is the number one issue in the topic of environmental safety of mankind. With the increase in population and the rapid growth of industry, the amount of garbage is also growing. Waste takes up entire landfills. For example, glass containers - jars, bottles of all kinds, shapes and colors. What to do with them? Just keep digging? No, - the scientists of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, - they will find a worthy application, which will be in demand in all regions of Russia.

BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov has been in strong and friendly relations with Serbian colleagues for many years. Traditionally, open lectures, round tables, seminars are held, allowing listeners to learn interesting facts about history, culture and traditions.

Rector of the University Sergey Glagolev took part in the meeting of the head of department Valery Falkov with the rectors of Russian universities. The Ministry of Education and Science of Russia is discussing the work of universities in the new conditions: the organization of the educational process in the post-pandemic period, assistance to Russian students studying abroad, and the international activities of universities.

Thanks to the development of scientists from BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov in the region managed to save 270 million rubles on heating.
