According to the results of the XXIII Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes-2020" innovative projects of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov were awarded medals and diplomas.

Scientists of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov took part in the International Conference "Scientific and Technical Issues of Arctic Development 2020: Present and Future", which was held online from 10 to 11 of September

Within the framework of the project “Creation of an integrated technology for processing gypsum-containing waste from industrial enterprises”, implemented on the platform of the Belgorod SEC “Innovative solutions in the agro-industrial complex”, the development and creation of an integrated technology for processing gypsum-containing waste continues. This will allow solving environmental problems associated with the accumulation of waste from industrial and livestock enterprises.

Head of the Research Department of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov- Klyuev Sergey Vasilyevich is included in the editorial board of the magazine "Fibers": https://www.mdpi.com/journal/fibers/editors.

The II Interregional online seminar for teachers "STEM-region 2020" was held. The general partner of the seminar was the Small Technological University of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov with the support of the Department of Education of the Belgorod Region. In total, more than 150 teachers from the Belgorod region, as well as from other regions of Russia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan took part in the event.

Under the leadership of the Director of the Innovative Scientific, Educational and Experimental-Industrial Center of Nanostructured Composite Materials, Head of the Department of Materials Science and Technology of Materials, Professor of the Department of Building Materials Science, Products and Structures of the Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, Doctor of Technical Sciences Valeria Strokova on September 8, an introductory lecture was organized on the topic: "Independent assessment of qualifications and the conduct of professional exam procedures" Entry into the profession "in nanotechnological and related high-tech areas of training.

Based on the results of the International Scientific Conference "BuildIn Tech BIT 2020. Innovations and Technologies in Construction", held on the basis of the Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, the scientific publication center UNIR carried out a set of articles and published a collection of scientific papers Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering published by Springer.

On the 27 th of August , 2020, employees of the Department of Building Materials Science, Products and Structures of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov took an active part in the scientific and practical online seminar "Actual problems and modern solutions in the field of building materials science."

At the flagship university of the region, the Department of Design of the Architectural Environment organized an annual exhibition of drawings and posters dedicated to the Day of Solidarity in the Fight against Terrorism among students of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov and other educational institutions. Students, teachers and staff got acquainted with the posters united by one theme - “Youth against terrorism and extremism”.

On September 3, the All-Russian action "Victory Dictation" was held at the flagship university of the Belgorod Region. The historical dictation is timed to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Anyone could take part in the All-Russian action, and in BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, there were a lot of students who decided to join this event.
