From 5 to 7 October, the Forum of Foreign Students and Graduates of Russian Universities-2018 will be held at Vladimir State University named after Alexander and Nikolay Stoletovs with the support of the World Association of Graduates. It is held in the framework of the federal grant «Rosmolodezh».

From 17 to 21 September at the sports base of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov in the framework of the project of the Association of the Student Sports Club "From Steading-Off to the Mark of the TRP Distinction" the students of the university were tested in the sports and fitness complex "Ready for Labor and Defense".

From 14-16 of September a group of undergraduate and graduate students of the Department of Examination and Real Estate Management of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, under the guidance of teachers I. Ursu, M. Krutilova, P. Davydenko went to Moscow to get acquainted with the heritage of engineer V.G. Shukhov. The excursion was timed to coincide with the 165th anniversary of the outstanding academician, whose name is supported by the university of Belgorod region.

On the 18th of September, an international plein-air on painting "Golden Autumn in Belgorod region" was launched on the territory of the flagship university of the region with the participation of famous artists and teachers of fine arts from Egypt, Palestine, Morocco and Syria.

The fourth stage of the championship on military sports test "Path of Power" was held at the recreation center of the Technological University in the Borisov district. This time the competition was dedicated to the 165th anniversary of the birth of the great engineer, architect and inventor Vladimir Shukhov.

The mainstay of the Belgorod region has been actively supporting and developing technical sports for several years. Students of the "Technologist" and other universities of the country, as well as employees of various companies of the region are pleased to participate in various tournaments and carting competitions held by BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.

On the 5th of September, the Second Belgorod Forum of Information Technologies "BIF-2018" was held. Flagship University of the region – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - became one of the main educational sites, where the founders of IT companies, managers and project managers, IT specialists, small and medium-sized business owners, Internet marketing specialists, freelancers, students gathered to discuss the prospects for the development of the IT industry , modern trends in the field of digital solutions. Within the framework of one of the sections of the forum "SMART CITY Day 2018" the issue of introducing modern technologies in the innovative development of "smart cities" was considered. Guests were invited to choose for themselves the direction of interest from the three sections.

On the 14th of September first regional stage of the All-Russian competition of professional skills "The best taxi driver in Russia in 2018" took place at BSTU named V.G. Shukhov .

On the 12 of September the presentation of a book by member of the Writers' Union of Russia Natalya Podluzhnaya took a place at the club of lovers of Russian literature "Pushkarnaya Sloboda" in the Museum-Exhibition Complex BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov .

On September 8,we were celebrated the 165th anniversary of the birth of Russian engineer Vladimir G. Shukhov as a grand marathon. The solemn program began with awards of gratitude letters from the best students of the university - excellent students, registered scholars and activists of the university.
