The 20th International Congress on Building Materials was held at Institute of Building Materials named after F. A. Finger (FIB), the division of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar (Germany).

A photo exhibition dedicated to the heroes of Belgorod under the symbolic title "Heroes Among Us" was held on September 25 at the flagship university BSTU name after V.G. Shukhov.
Students of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - prize-winners of competitions in fire-rescue sports
Voluntary fire brigade of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov took part in the IV Open Interregional Championship of Tambov State Technical University for Fire and Rescue Sports among student teams. 18 teams from Belgorod, Lipetsk and Tambov regions took part in the competitions which were held in Tambov.
The first three places were taken by BSTU students at the Formula Student in Moscow
The All-Russian Engineering and Sports Festival "Formula Student" was held in Moscow. It was organized by the Government of Moscow in conjunction with the program for the development of Russian motorsport SMP Racing. 15 student teams of universities from nine cities of Russia fought for the championship. Evaluation of the engineering and racing teams gave the most experienced judges from Austria, Germany and Russia.
Student construction brigade became the winner of the Jamboree of the Central Federal District
In Voronezh, the 4th meeting of the student contingents of the Central Federal District of Russia took place. The event brought together about 400 students from 18 regions. Student construction brigade of the flagship university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, as part of the delegation of the Belgorod region, successfully performed in sports competitions and a creative program.
Sergey Glagolev entered the top 50 mediaactive rectors of Russian universities
Rector of the University of Belgorod Region – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - Professor Sergey Glagolev entered the top 50 media active rectors of Russian universities on the results of the IV All-Russian competition "MEDIAactivity of Russian Universities-2018", the results of which were summed up by the company "Accreditation in Education" in conjunction with a group of experts in the field of information openness.
The university presented the developments at the All-Russian Science Festival
On September 21 and 22, the main scientific event of the year, the All-Russian Science Festival of South-West Russia NAUKA0 +, was held in Belgorod. Scientists of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov presented their developments and achievements at almost all venues of the festival.
