A Party for Foreign Graduates
This year 17 international students, who were trying hard taking the most complicated courses at Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, got their graduation diplomas. The Association of Foreign Students and the academic staff came to share the joy of our graduates.
Youth Festival at BSTU
On the eve of the Youth Day Belgorod State Technological University campus became a venue for a grandiose and spectacular “Life is My Choice”, which has become traditional in Belgorod. The organizers included Youth policy administration office of the local government, Belgorod State Technological University, advertising agency «Belgift» and a tourist company «Dobrokhot».
Commission on International cooperation
Belgorod State Technological University is a part of a Commission on International cooperation at the Rectors Council in Belgorod oblast. The commission is represented by the staff members of all universities in Belgorod oblast. The coming session’s agenda includes the issue of implementation of international education projects
Exams are on
Students of the preparatory faculty for foreign students have started their final summer exams.
The students are passing final exams in the Russian language, mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, biology, economics, social science, geography.
Upon successful passing the exams the students will obtain a certificate of completion of the preparatory course indicating the test results.
Representatives of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman responded to questions
On June 17 a press conference took place at BSTU named after V.G Shukhov, which was attended by the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation, His Excellency Mohammed Awad Abdoul Rahman Al-Hassan, the Head of Education Section Dr. Jamel Fadel, head of information department Mrs. Lina Matni and the University representatives.

Let us remind that the Delegation of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman has been on a business visit to our university. The high visitors have met our Chancellor, professor S.N. Glagolev and the academic staff. And today they have had a tour of Belgorod State Institute of Culture and Art.
Irina Ignatova, the Chancellor of Belgorod State Institute of Culture and Art welcomed the guests and conducted a familiarization excursion, which included a diverse cultural program.

Within the framework of the meeting between the representatives of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman and BSTU management, the university exhibition center held an exhibition dedicated to the history and culture of Oman.
Visit of the Delegation of the Sultanate of Oman
The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Russian Federation arrived on a business visit to Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov on June 16, 2011. The delegation was represented by His Excellency, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Oman to the Russian Federation, Mr. Mohammed Awad Abdoul Rahman Al-Hassan,, the head of Education section in the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Russia, Mr. Jamel Fadel, Head of information service of the Embassy, Mrs. Lina Matni.
Expanding the cooperation horizons
On June 14, completing their stay at Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, a delegation of the Association of Teachers of Iraq visited the university. During the two-week business trip the guests visited a number of educational institutions in the region, got familiarized with school programs, and also met with the leadership of local department of education, culture and youth policy.
