Sarah Modd from France is building friendship bridges
For several months Sara Modd form France has been on internship at BSTU named after
V.G. Shukhov. She is a student of Graduate School of Translationlocated in the French city of Nantes (Brittany). The French girl arrived in Russia to better understand the language of Chekhov, Bulgakov, Pushkin, as well as mentality of the Russian people.
Sarah is teaching French, giving classes for students of our university, participates in the the activities of French Club, on the basis of the French resource center.
Health Day for Foreign students
Traditionally, during the nice days of May preparatory faculty for foreign citizens and Centre for international education and cooperation arranges a Health Day for foreign students. Health Day usually takes place at the city recreation centers to ensure that foreign students do not only become better acquainted with the Russian nature, culture and history , but have the opportunity to spend time with their groupmates and teachers in a friendly atmosphere, in the open air.
