Nis University celebrated anniversary
In June Serbian State Nis University celebrated a significant date– 45th anniversary from the date of the basis. For this time more then 50 thousand students have got the diploma from here. The University has become a significant research, education and cultural centre of the south Serbia. Today in the University on 13 departments study about 30 thousand students. Some years ago BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov and University of Nis have concluded contract on cooperation. And today we can speak about some results. To the present time most full partners relations are realized with Building-Architectural, Mechanical-Engineering and Economic departments of the friendly university.
It is naturally following that anniversary celebrating attended dean of Faculty of Economic and Management of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Doctor of Economic Science, professor Y.A. Doroshenko. Yuiy Anatoljevich host a few meeting with partners from Serbian Nis with the purpose to consolidate of the relations and develop the program for further cooperation. In particularly, on the meeting with Evitsey Petrovich, Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Bilianoy Predich, vice-rector on special projects, professor discussed the problems concerning student’s exchanges, participation students and teachers in conferences, publication joint papers and monographies. They also discussed the possibility of participation in TEMPUS-projects and recognition procedure of graduation diplomas.
During the discussion took summarize on cooperation for last. The significant event became the develop and publication of unique Russian-Serbian monograthy on Russian language «Economic globalization and future development of regions» under the common editorship of Milosh Todorovich, Serbian professor, doctor of sciences (economic) and Stryabkova E.A., assistant professor of the department of Management of foreign economic activity, candidate of sciences (economic). Annually teachers and students of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov represent their projects in the conference, which holds at the Faculty of Economic of the His University. In return, Serbian scientists many time published their papers in collections of reports of conferences and in collections of paper of Belgorod universities. The third year successively the students of the Faculty of economic and management have a practical training in Serbia проходят учебную практику в Сербии. For many time students from Serbia visited Belgorodian.
The visit program of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov delegation was various and wide-ranging. The belgorodians met representatives of Architecture and Construction Engineering, Machine building faculties, as well as faculty for training of certified lawyers and economists for managing (Belgrade). The meeting with Serbian artist and icon-painter Anitsa Savich took good impressions to guests from BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. She exhibited her works in Belgorod last year.
The main events in the visit program were celebration of 45th anniversary of the Nis University. Many guest and among of them the Embassy of Russia to Serbia addressed their congratulations and good wishes to the University. Graduation students achieved an excellent results for study period were awarded with a Gold medal of the University. The University Day is a festival with University creative team participation, which took place during the week on a city and university place was coincided with the anniversary.
On July 4-12 in the summer the student’s group “Technolog” will visit Serbia and take part in the 5th International summer economic school «Competitive recovery in condition of global economics», which annually organizing by the Faculty of Economic of the Nis University.
Working language of The International economic summer school is English. Participation in the work of school allows to regulate for students-economists theoretical knowledge by common studying and leaning a real economic environment. For a five days the students will study, meet each other, representing their countries, visit enterprises and course, delight natural and cultural places of interest of Serbia. Everyday program includes: morning 45th lection, practices, business plays, and trainings for 2 hours with a breaks. After lunch are planning the presentations of countries, an hour for each state, as well as excursions and sport plays. After dinner are planning entertainments, which will help the participants, make friends. One day for visit of entertainments and firms. Last day is fully given to get to know cultural and historical heritage of Serbia. Last day will finish by certificate presentation to participants and official concluding ceremony of the summer school.
Thus, the signed agreements and the confirmed programs are actively realized and brought to life. The collaboration develops very fast, as that required a global economics. Last years in Russia and Europe much attention is given to development such links in research and education. It kind of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov has a high level in develop of relations with foreign states, in addition, with universities of brotherly Serbia.
