Representatives of the Ministry of transport of Syria visited local government office
On June 16 the delegation from Syrian Arab Republic represented by Dr.Eng.Youssef Hammood, General Manager of Public Establishment for Road Communications, deputy minister of transport of Syrian Arab Republic and Eng. Hassan Ezeddin Abu Khreish, Нead of Office Director General at Public Establishment for Road Communications accompanied by S.N. Glagolev, BSTU Chancellor and V.S. Lesovik, first vice-Chancellor for research, innovation and international activity visited the local administration office to meet the head of the department of construction, transportation and municipal facilities N.V. Kalashnikov. In the course of the meeting they discussed the issues of cooperation
in the field of highway construction and transportation.
In conclusion, the parties exchanged souvenirs and expressed the wish to promote cooperation between Belgorod oblast and Syrian Arab Republic in different areas. N.V. Kalashnikov was invited on a friendly visit to Syrian Arab republic in the near future.
Then the Syrian visitors had a tour of the city, had a stroll in a Victory Park and went to “Kursk Battle” Diorama Museum.
