At the "Boiling Point" of the region's flagship university, a meeting was held within the framework of the "Strategic Development of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov: the future of the university through the eyes of a student.

The meeting was moderated by Maria Suvorova, Program Director of the Boiling Points of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov ".
The speaker of the meeting was Andrey Naumov, Head of the Department of Expertise and Real Estate Management.
“A student must constantly think about where to spend his time with benefit for business, for the profession, or for his career growth. It is for this that the “Boiling Point” was created at the university. Today we will form ideas, the purpose of which is to determine the vectors of the university's development within the framework of the program of academic strategic leadership, ”Andrey Evgenievich addressed the audience.
 The Academic Strategic Leadership Program is a program that replaces the programs that were organized at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov under the auspices of the Ministry of Education of Russia. The tasks that are solved by the university within the framework of this program:

 Innovative and technological development.
 Due to the fact that the university is a forge of personnel, it should be a center of competence and a point of communication for the entire professional community.
 Retention of personnel in the region.

Within the framework of this program, it is necessary to understand what exactly a person needs in order for him to stay in the region and satisfy his ambitions. Unification of universities into a single conglomerate. This community will help each other and professionally interact with each other.

The idea of ​​uniting universities is as follows: to unite resource-rich universities to solve two main tasks: staff retention and the development of innovative and technological ideas.
At the meeting, the students discussed interesting areas of training at the flagship university, identified their advantages and disadvantages.
They also discussed the vectors of development of the university in such areas as digitalization, education, start-ups like diplomas and entrepreneurship.
