The Holiday of Forgiveness and Mercy

On the 30th of August students from the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa, studying in BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov once again celebrated a major holiday in the Muslim world - Eid al-Fitr - the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The main organizers of the festival were students themselves. It should be noted that university managers, academic staff from the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens and the employees of the Center for International Education and Cooperation always give assistance to  foreign students to organize such events and never forget their customs and traditions. So this evening was no exception.
During the "holy month" it is strictly forbidden to eat or drink until the sunset, participate in games and other entertainments.

Celebration of the last day of Ramadan, took place in the university canteen. There were students from Turkmenistan, Chad, Yemen, Afghanistan, Palestine and other countries in the hall.

The head of the Center for International Education and Cooperation Eugeniy Vyacheslavich Kapustin congratulated all the students present - "We are pleased that our university unites the students who have different cultures and different faiths, it indicates the high status of the university in the field of international relations."
