A scientific and methodological seminar “Digital construction Information Modeling in Construction "for students and teachers of the flagship university of the region was held at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.

Oleg Chernyavsky, design engineer of Belenergomash-BZEM LLC, a certified Tekla Structures specialist, spoke about the use of modern technologies in the design of buildings and structures.
Tekla Structures software, thanks to an open approach to BIM technologies, allows you to create an effective mechanism for transferring information between participants in the construction process. In this way, architects, engineers and contractors can share and reconcile design data. At the end of the event, the head. Department of Construction and Urban Economy Lyudmila Suleimanova thanked the guests for the useful information, noting the relevance and seriousness of this meeting. It should be noted that the CGC Department is actively introducing such modern software systems as Tekla Structures, Autodesk Revit, Ansys, GENPRO, Sinchro PRO into the educational process.
