The final round of the FQW competition was held with the participation of Russian and foreing universities

From the15 to 17th of October at the flagship university held the II (final) round of the All-Russian review-competition of FQP in the specialty "Land transport and technological means" and FQW masters in the direction of training "Land transport and technological complexes"  in the videoconference mode, as well as the competition of educational methodical and scientific literature in the direction of 23.00.00 NMS FUMO. The organizers of the competition were the Department of Hoisting-and-Transport and Road Machines of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
Representatives of 25 universities from the Far East and neighboring countries took part in the competition: Siberian State University of Railways, Moscow Automobile and Highway State Technical University, MSTU named after I. N.E. Bauman, Russian University of Transport, Kazan University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Voronezh State Technical University, Pacific and Tula State Universities, Belarusian-Russian University, Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (Ukraine) and others.

First Vice-Rector Yevgeny Yevtushenko and Director of the Transport and Technology Institute Ivan Novikov addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, noting the relevance of such events.

The further work of the competition was continued by the chairman of the FUMO in the direction of "Ground transport and technological complexes" V.A. Zorin. Aleksey Romanovich, the head of the PT&DM department, made a report on the results of the competition and noted the high scientific and technical level of the works submitted to the competition.

During the discussion on the basis of the Zoom platform, important issues of improving the quality of the educational process, training specialists and masters in these areas, as well as the new educational standards of the Federal State Educational Standard 3 ++ published in 2020 were raised.

The jury members, consisting of representatives of leading universities, reviewed more than 110 graduate works, and over 20 textbooks, monographs and other types of educational, methodological and scientific literature. Among the objects of study and analysis: lifting, construction, track, road, earth-moving vehicles; machines for vertical and continuous transport, machines for earthworks, for nature management and environmental protection, for the production and processing of road-building materials, and even drilling equipment. A huge number of research projects are presented.

The competition was also attended by students and undergraduates of the flagship university - BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. The final qualification works were performed at a high level under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Hoisting-Transport and Road Machines. As a result, 10 works submitted for the competition took 1st and 2nd places.

Similar contests have been held at the university for ten years. The invaluable exchange of experience with colleagues from other universities in Russia and abroad helps the teaching staff of the Department of Pedagogical and Medical Technologies to improve the educational process every year. After all, the final qualifying work should be the final positive result of many years of joint work of teachers and students.
