We build skyscrapers
The summer of 2020 was marked by a landmark event for the construction teams - for the first time, the participants of the student construction team of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov took part in the construction of the Lakhta Center skyscraper in St. Petersburg - the highest in Russia and Europe.
In mid-July, participants of the SBD: Artyom Anopriev and Alexander Shevchenko went to the construction of this unique structure. Due to the epidemiological situation, the fighters, after arriving at the place of work, underwent a two-week observation. What is very important, during the observation and already immediately during the period of work, three meals a day were provided to all participants in the construction site, and before starting work, a medical commission was organized at the expense of the employer. The host organization purchased round-trip tickets for all builders at its own expense. Students received decent wages.
The work took place directly inside the skyscraper, where the construction of plasterboard partitions and interior decoration of the building continues. One of the internal regulations was a ban on any photo and video filming of the object.
Thestudents themselves were satisfied with both the working conditions and the earnings they received. For example, Alexander Shevchenko noted: “In general, we liked everything. They did not fail with the salary, they paid on time and in full. As for the work itself, there are also no comments on it - the work was feasible and corresponding to our qualifications. "
Artyom Anopriev: “It is worth noting the labor protection system at this facility. Control over compliance with all safety regulations and internal regulations was carried out. But this is by no means a minus, but quite the opposite - a big plus. Many impressions were left after work. If there was an opportunity, then I would continue to work at this facility. Lakhta Center is guaranteed to be remembered for the rest of our lives.
