French students are grateful for the warm welcome
The program of French students’ stay, who came from the University of Strasbourg the Graduate School of Marketing has come to the end. During a month at Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov the students improved their Russian skills , got acquainted with the heroic past and the present of the Belgorod region.
On July 28, on the eve of departure, the French students visited the exposition of the university museum, left records in the book of honorable guests. Here, in the museum, in a solemn ceremony , the preparatory faculty dean E.N. Legochkina presented them with certificates of completion of the course of the Russian language. Addressing the representatives of French youth, Elena Nikolaevna stressed: "It is symbolic that the ceremony is held in the museum where everything connected with the history of the university is kept with great care. I think that your stay here will not only become part of the history of the university, but also serve to strengthen the friendship between our two peoples. Today, France and Russia are actively cooperating in the economic, scientific, cultural and educational areas, developing a long tradition of friendly relations. "

- I'm taking with me the warmest memories of the days we were staying in your wonderful university. Most of all I was impressed with the warm attitude of people with whom I had the opportunity to communicate, their love for Russia. Here I reviewed most of my views. For example, a visit to the diorama museum, made me a take a different look at the role of Prokhorovka battle as a turning point in World War II. I was also pleasantly surprised by the interest of the Russians to France, its culture and history. I wish that more people in my country learned more about Russia from us.
The final party in the "Youth" café at BSTU was dedicated to the end of the Russian language courses.
