Technologist-Spartak became the champion of the Russian Cup in Beach Handball
The handball tournament was held from 21 to 23 August at the Dynamo Moscow Beach Sports Center. Due to the unstable epidemiological situation and the consequences of the pandemic, 7 teams took part in the competition.
Technologist-Spartak scored 12 out of 12 possible points in the first round robin, leaving behind all rivals. And in the semifinals, the Belgorod athletes met with Spartak-Rifa, beating them 2: 0.
In the final, the players of our team gave their best for two hundred percent and did everything possible to win this Cup.
“21 years ago the Belgorod handball players won the first Cup of the country and since then, unfortunately, we have not been able to become the owners of the Cup. But 2020 was a decisive year and this great merit of our athletes, each player made his own contribution to this victory. For three months, almost every day, we trained on the sand, it is hard work, but the sweeter its reward! ", - said the head coach of Technologist-Spartak Sergei Kramskoy.
There are no easy victories, everyone tries to the limit of their capabilities, when the work goes to the result. As Sergei Ivanovich said, each player made his own contribution to the victory, but I would like to especially note the goalkeeper of the national team Denis Palikhov and captain Ivan Tsukanov, as well as Nikita Zadorozhny, Konstantin Vinokur, Igor Neklyudov, Dmitry Simonov and Nikita Skrydlov, all the guys showed high professionalism and excellent teamwork.
After the victory, the players of the Tekhnolog-Spartak team have absolutely no time to rest, ahead of the new season of the Major League in classic handball, which will begin in October.
