One day, Sergei Glagolev, the rector of the flagship university, came to visit the participants, and when the guys offered him a slightly non-standard format for the meeting, he agreed without hesitation.
You've probably heard about the Jeff exercise, or as it is also called, the Jefferson exercise, it is conducted for a large audience, just for the "Alternative".
By participating in the exercise, children learn to speak freely, answer questions, and defend their opinion. But it is especially pleasant and important when the rector participates with you and shares his knowledge and attitude to this or that situation.
The topics for discussion were different: "Online learning improves the quality of education and contributes to the acquisition of knowledge for future career growth", "A session passed with" excellent "is an indicator of a student's knowledge", "Work should be fun, not money" and many other interesting topics were discussed by students with the rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
The guys did not hesitate to express their points of view and listen to the opposite sides, and sometimes, after the given arguments, their attitude to the situation changed, and they took a different position.
At the end of the meeting, Sergei Nikolaevich wished the participants active rest, productive time and good mood for the rest of the school days.
