Geonics (geomimetics) - a new scientific direction iat the flagship university of the region

Humanity is on the verge of a very difficult stage in its development. The reserves of natural resources are depleted, the environment is polluted, the natural connection between man and nature is lost, aesthetic values are lost, the economic and political struggle intensifies. Negative environmental conditions are increasingly hitting the dynamics of human life, causing serious damage to his health. In this regard, the main task of scientists around the world is to create comfortable conditions for human existence on planet Earth.

The international scientific and educational center "Geonics (geomimetics)" has been created and is successfully operating at the flagship university at the department of building materials science, products and structures. The center was created to develop cooperation with international organizations, educational institutions and to enhance transdisciplinary research in the field of geonics (geomimetics). The center was also created with the aim of improving the educational process and improving the quality of training based on the creative use of international experience.

The head of the center is Valery Stanislavovich Lesovik - Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Building Materials Science, Products and Structures of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Valery Stanislavovich is the author of a new transdisciplinary scientific direction - geonics (geomimetics), which solves engineering problems using information obtained in the study of natural processes.

The theoretical provisions of geonics (geomimetics) and the developments of the department are of interest not only to Russian, but also to foreign specialists. Scientists are engaged in obtaining a new generation of composites based on nature-like technologies. Unique materials are used in the construction of buildings and structures in areas with different climatic conditions.

Within the framework of the fundamental foundations of geonics (geomimetics), theoretical provisions for the creation of new generation building composites have been developed, including for the protection of the human environment from negative parameters affecting humans (abnormal natural and man-made processes, increased concentration of CO2 and other gases, information and noise aggression , exposure to electromagnetic waves, lethal and non-lethal weapons).

Within the framework of geonics (geomimetics), the "law of affinity of structures" and "law of similarity" have been formulated and successfully implemented, which make it possible to design composites of a new generation. A theory of technogenic metasomatism in building materials science is proposed, which consists in the evolutionary adaptation of composites to conditions changing during the operation of buildings and structures. For example, the design of building composites taking into account the theory of technogenic metasomatism in building materials science makes it possible to provide for the possibility of self-healing of defects that have arisen during the operation of buildings and structures.

Using the provisions of geonics in the framework of the dissertation by the doctoral student of the department. The beam has been used to develop high-performance heat-insulating-structural and acoustic glass composites of a new generation based on technogenic raw materials.

Professor A.D. Tolstoy, taking into account the law of similarity, has developed concretes based on technogenic raw materials from the Kursk magnetic anomaly with a compressive strength of 1000 kg / cm2. A wide range of new generation composites has been developed based on the raw materials of the KMA and other regions of the Russian Federation.

Further implementation is carried out within the framework of the doctoral dissertation by Associate Professor of the Military Training Center of the Far Eastern Federal University, Lieutenant Colonel R.S. Fedyuk - Director of the Representative Office of the BSTU International Educational Center. V.G. Shukhov "Geonics (geomimetics)" at the Far Eastern Federal University. Currently, a special composition of ultra-strong concrete has been developed and patented for the construction of special-purpose structures. The proposed material is 2 times superior in its characteristics to the traditionally used composites. The developed materials are planned for implementation for construction at the Baikonur cosmodrome and in the Arctic.

As part of his doctoral dissertation, M.Yu. Elistratkin, research is underway to develop a new generation of porous composites. It is porosity that is one of the most effective tools for controlling the properties of building materials in a wide range. The application of the principles of geonics, and in this, greatly simplifies the task of the researcher, in fact, reducing it to the systematization and study of the nature of such influences, as well as the reproduction of the most valuable aspects in the technologies of artificial building materials.

As part of his doctoral dissertation, A.A. Volodchenko, composites are being developed to protect the human environment from the negative effects of natural and man-made anomalies associated with electromagnetic influences, noise aggression and some other elements, for which types of raw materials of a certain genesis, unconventional for the construction industry, are used.

At present, representations of the BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov International Educational Center have been established.Geonics (geomimetics)" at the Far Eastern Federal University, South Kazakhstan State University named after M.O. Auezov, Research Institute "Building materials, construction and architecture", Kazakhstan National Academy of Natural Sciences.

Scientists from many universities are actively working in a new scientific field: the Northern Arctic Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Far Eastern Federal University, East Siberian State University of Technology and Management, North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov, Penza State University of Architecture and Construction, National Research Mordovian University named after N.P. Ogarev and other specialized universities in Russia and foreign countries.

To increase the level of information cooperation among leading scientists, young scientists, graduate students and undergraduates in the field of a new transdisciplinary scientific direction of geonics (geomimetics), a scientific information portal has been created on the Internet. Groups have been created on the social networks VKontakte and FaceBook, which also act as a virtual platform for the exchange of opinions. Scientists from all over the world can leave their notes, comments and articles, thereby replenishing the information base.

International educational center BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov "Geonics (geomimetics)" is actively involved in both scientific and educational activities. New theoretical approaches are being actively introduced into the educational process. Online lectures are read, consultations and joint scientific research are organized, webinars, online congresses are held, in which students of specialized Russian and foreign universities take part.

It is in this way that the achievements of the flagship university are implemented and implemented in leading universities in Russia and abroad.
