Student Poster Contest I am Against Drugs
Every year on the 26th of June the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking is celebrated.
In order to engage students in anti-drug activities aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, as well as fostering a civic position and responsibility on the basis of affirming universal values, developing and implementing the creative abilities of young people, identifying gifted students and encouraging them at Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, a competition of student posters "I am against drugs" was announced among students of educational institutions of the Belgorod region.
For many years, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov is the initiator of the poster contest in which all higher educational institutions of the Belgorod region participate. This year the competition received 41 works. The faculty of the university, together with students, carries out a large research and preventive work on the issue of drug addiction prevention.
BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, actively opposing non-medical drug use, ensures the proper state of safety of educational activities.
The exhibition opened on June 25, on the eve of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, in the meeting room of the Academic Council of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, the opening was attended by members of the scientific council, headed by the rector of the university, Sergei Glagolev.
“Our exhibition of artwork in the framework of the Student Poster Competition“ I am against drugs ”is aimed at combating this painful attraction and addiction to drugs. Almost all higher education institutions took part in the formation of a fund of anti-drug drawings aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, ”said Sergey Glagolev.
The next stage in the competition will be voting for the work you like, voting will take place in the group on VKontakte BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov and will be until July 2nd.
Works with the highest number of likes will be recognized as winners of this competition.
