Glory does not fade! Traditions live!

Museum and Exhibition Complex of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov and the student association “In memory of our page” became participants in the national marathon. In the framework of the project “Multinational Victory”, which was launched on social networks, Shukhov residents presented a virtual exhibition entitled “Glory to the glory - traditions to live!” Dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

For many centuries, the Russian people have been subjected to severe trials. But the war of 1941-1945, which lasted 1,418 days and nights, in its scale, destruction and human casualties was unparalleled in the entire history of our state. During the years of World War II, more than 27 million people died, and not only on the fronts: famine, bombing, shelling, harsh living and working conditions claimed the lives of those who were behind the front line. The tragedy passed through every family and heart of every citizen of the USSR. All the more significant was our Victory!

Decades pass, generations are replaced, but the Great Victory is still a symbol of national unity, military glory and valor, forever inscribed in the heroic annals of the country. For students of a technological university, it is a civic duty to preserve and pass on to their descendants the memory of this great event and once again recall those who fought on the battlefields, who in the rear, tirelessly worked hard for the good of the Motherland, approaching the Great Victory .

The exhibition project, consisting of copyright posters, is the pages of the history of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, telling the truth about the events of those days, about its heroes, about heroic pages, including the unique find of the cadet of the Military Training Center named after N.F. Vatutin - the soldier’s medal "For Military Merit", which has lain in the earth for 75 years, on the work of search engines, who have established the identity of a soldier who did not wait for his reward in life.

The virtual exhibition also tells about the liberation of the city of military glory - Belgorod and the military-patriotic movement in the university.

The day of the 75th anniversary of Victory is the memory that we must carry through our lives!

YOU WIN, WE WILL SAVE!
