Each student or employee of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov knows that a sanatorium is functioning at the university. In such a difficult period, colossal work is being done by physicians at the flagship university, they are on guard of the health of all Shukhov residents.

From the beginning of quarantine, the medical service carries out its work 24/7, the doors of the sanatorium are open for visitors daily from 9:00 to 20:00, including Saturday and Sunday. Reception is conducted at the student health center (dormitory No. 2). A doctor and a nurse accept all applicants with complaints about their health condition and poor health. In case of detection of elevated body temperature, students are placed in the isolator of dormitory No. 5 to provide the necessary assistance, the patient is in the isolator until complete recovery.
Also, university medical workers examine all students who have been absent from the hostel for a long time without a good reason. They are given temporary passes or quarantined in the “short-term residence” sector of hostel No. 4. This is done to prevent infection from entering the hostel, where a large number of students live.
The employees of the sanatorium-dispensary was carried out with directors and heads of departments of the institutes from March 23 to 27, meetings were aimed at observing the sanitary-anti-epidemic regime and the prevention of existing chronic diseases.
