BSTU named after V.G.Shukhov once again became the winner of the All-Russian projects competition
For three years, students from the flagship university of the Belgorod region in the field of decorative arts and crafts and crafts became winners of the All-Russian contest of Summer University projects on Kizhi Island. The children were given a unique opportunity to put their knowledge into practice.
The competition venue was not chosen by chance. On the territory of the ethnographic village, which is a monument of wooden architecture, protected by UNESCO, the churches and the original structures of the island are preserved - real examples of carpentry art by northern craftsmen.
In 2017, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov became the winner of the contest with the project "Development of souvenir products design." Students designed and applied the Summer University logo on T-shirts, created children's toys and suggested framing stands with elements of solar symbolism.
In 2018, they presented a new project, “Museum and Design,” which also won first place in the All-Russian competition. The design of the calendar and information booklet on the Kizhi Museum Reserve was presented.
In 2019, following the results of the Summer University program on about. Students not only won the project “Organization of master classes in the manufacture of souvenirs from plaster”, but also held their master classes. The guys showed how to cast souvenir products from gypsum with the sights of the Kizhi Museum-Reserve.
Also, students of the reference university developed a map of Kizhi island with photos of the main attractions that every traveler must see. In addition, stories and descriptions of each architectural monument were added to the map.
The idea of students of the Department of Engineering Technology was embodied in the walls of his native university - a map of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, on which you can safely conduct a tour.
