Flagship university has presented a new project for the processing of Solid municipal waste
On 22nd of January, Vladimir Sevostyanov, head of the department of technological complexes, machines and mechanisms, together with Viktor Obolonsky, head of the new technology and technology development department of Ecotrans LLC, presented the project “Resource and energy-saving technology for the integrated processing and disposal of Solid municipal waste using internal resources and the receipt of marketable products. "
The aim of the presented project is to develop and create technology for the deep processing of MSW for cities with a population of 300 to 600 thousand people. A feature of the project is the possibility of transforming the developed technologies with the aim of creating mobile modular solutions for the processing and disposal of waste from small landfills. When processing waste, this technology implies almost complete autonomy from borrowing external sources of thermal and electric energy.
After an active discussion of the project, it was supported by the Deputy Head of the Belgorod Region Administration Konstantin Polezhaev, the head of the Center for Environmental Safety Solid State Waste Management Center Leonid Belokovalenko and other speakers.
Also, in the framework of the meeting of the research and production platform, the Belgorod Region Governor Yevgeny Savchenko supported the joint projects of the supporting university and industrial partners: the Solid Oxide Fuel Cells for Agriculture project (jointly with EFKO) and the project for the Production Complex of Deep Processing of Vegetable Oils Based on innovative technology of controlled organic synthesis "(together with the company LLC" Coachman ").
