University took part at the All-Russian Conference on Training for an Innovative Economy

On 23rd of October, in Moscow, the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs (RUSNANO Group), with the participation of the Intersectoral Association of Nanoindustry and eNano, held the All-Russian Conference "Training for the Innovative Economy: Guidelines and Content", which at the same time became the educational platform of the congress of nanoindustry enterprises.


Flagship  University - BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - was presented by the director of the Innovative Scientific, Educational and Experimental Industrial Center of Nanostructured Composite Materials Valeria Strokova.


The event began with a welcoming speech by the director of educational projects and programs of the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs Elena Soboleva. Then the chairman of the board of RUSNANO Management Company Anatoly Chubais delivered an open lecture on the innovative economy.
The conference was held in the form of a panel discussion. The moderator of the first topic “What training programs are in demand in the innovative economy?” Was made by writer, TV presenter, professor of the Higher School of Economics Alexander Arkhangelsky.


The conference was attended by universities, research organizations, developing and implementing new educational programs with the support of the foundation, as well as high-tech companies interested in training their specialists.
When discussing the topic “Mechanisms for identifying and forming relevant qualifications. Trends in Continuing Professional Education ”, the importance of developing educational programs in various formats was noted.
Within the framework of the event, topical problems of creating innovative infrastructure in universities that provide the process of commercialization, building regional innovation systems and regional development were also discussed; the feasibility of entering a business in innovative projects in cooperation with universities.
Issues related to the prospects for the development of additional professional education in an innovative economy were also raised; the need to develop popular educational programs for the formation of competencies that graduates lack to create and develop a knowledge-based business, etc.
