Rector of the university took part at the teachers staff forum
On the 23nd of August, forum of teachers staff of the Belgorod Region opened with the participation of Governor Yevgeny Savchenko, Deputy Governor Natalia Zubareva in Dubovoy.
The event from the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was attended by rector Sergei Glagolev, president of the university Anatoly Gridchin and first vice-rector Yevgeny Yevtushenko.
The forum is also attended by President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Sergeev, who visited BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov in June as part of a workshop on the establishment of a scientific and educational center in the region.
On the agenda of the forum were considered the functioning of schools of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Belgorod Region, updating the content of the activities of educational organizations, the implementation of the project "Friendly School", the formation of a positive educational space.
At the end of the forum, school principals were awarded certificates confirming the status of schools of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the territory of the Belgorod Region. Among them is the Shukhov Lyceum, which works under the patronage of BSTU. V.G. Shukhov. The educational institution carries out profile or in-depth study of the disciplines necessary for studying at technical universities, first of all, at the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. Graduates of the lyceum enter on a special basis in a flagship university.
