Rector of BSTU named after V.G.Shukhov awarded the medal For Merit to the City of Belgorod
At the solemn meeting dedicated to the City Day and the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Belgorod from the Nazi invaders, Mayor Yuri Galdun awarded outstanding Belgorod residents for their services to the city. Among those who received honorary awards- rector of the flagship university Sergey Glagolev.
He was awarded the medal "For Merit to the City of Belgorod" III degree.
Note that the award is awarded for services and achievements in the economic, scientific, technical, social, cultural and other fields of activity that contributed to the strengthening and development of the city of Belgorod, the growth of its authority in the region, Russia and abroad.
A medal is traditionally awarded on the eve of the City Day on August 5 and other anniversary dates.
