Actual problems of geonics (geomimetics) were discussed at the profile section of the international conference

At the XXIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "High Technologies and Innovations", dedicated to the 65th anniversary of BSTUnamed after V.G. Shukhov, worked several scientific sections. Among them is “Geonika. Geomimetics - theoretical foundations of building materials. ”

76 reports were presented at the section, including in the online format. A wide range of problems devoted to theoretical and applied research in building materials science was discussed: theoretical questions of geonics, application of the law of affinity of structures and man-made metasomatism in building materials science, the present and future of high-strength concrete, modern composites of destroyed buildings and structures, and others.

The director of the office of the International Research and Education Center "Geonika (Geomimetics)" based on the Far Eastern Federal University, associate professor, Ph.D., Lieutenant Colonel Roman Fedyuk, welcomed the participants on-line. He noted the importance of the conference and stressed that BSTU named after  V. G. Shukhov is a leader in many positions of scientific research.

The work of the section began with the report of Ph.D., associate professor Evgeny Glagolev. He devoted a speech to composites for 3D additive low-rise construction.

The staff and graduate students of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.Lomonosov. In their reports, they told about the use of technogenic raw materials of the Arkhangelsk diamondiferous province for obtaining effective building materials for the development of the North and the Arctic.

An interesting report was made by a graduate student of the department of building materials, products and designs Ahmed Ahmed Anis Ahmed. He spoke about the results of research that were conducted on the basis of the international scientific and educational center "Theory and practice of restoring destroyed cities." A number of serious scientific problems have been resolved within the center, including the theoretical concepts for designing and creating new generation composites from fragments of destroyed buildings and structures of Iraq. To address these issues, a group of graduate students from Iraq, Syria and other states was formed within the center. They include Ahmed Ahmed Anis Ahmed from Anbar province and Al-Bu Ali Uatiq Syed Jasaam from Salah al-Din Iraq province. They solve problems by studying the features of the destruction of buildings and structures, develop technologies for producing a wide range of composites of a new generation for the construction of fragments of destroyed buildings and structures.

The possibilities of using the provisions of architectural geonics and the creation of the concept of an architectural monument of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly in the Belgorod Region were explained by a graduate student of the Department of Mass Media and Engineering Alyona Bychkova.

Within the section, scientists exchanged views on building materials science and technological mechanics, problems of drinking water treatment in unfavorable regions, the fundamental principles of concrete science, construction and repair of roads in modern conditions. The reports aroused the interest of the audience: there were many questions and a lively discussion.

Speakers awarded commemorative diplomas.
