Signed a cooperation agreement with the South Kazakhstan State University
The delegation of South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Aeuzov had visited flagship university with official visit.
The delegation included an academician, an honorary education worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhambyl Aimenov, and the director of the Research Institute of Building Materials, Construction and Architecture, Bakytzhan Sarsenbayev. They visited the campus of BSTU. V.G. Shukhov, met with the infrastructure of the university, its institutes and departments.
The guests from Kazakhstan met with the Vice-Rector for International Activitiy of the flagship University Ruslan Lesovik. They discussed the usefulness of working together for both universities and signed an agreement on the establishment of mutually beneficial business cooperation. It concerns the training of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies in the following specialties:
- “Production of building materials, products and structures”;
- "Industrial and civil construction";
- "Chemical technology of refractory non-metallic and silicate materials."
The contract also includes joint research and projects.
