Regional Student Easter
A regional student Easter took place on the territory of the temple of the holy martyrs Faith, Hope, Love and their mother Sophia. Despite the rainy weather, students from all universities and colleges of the Belgorod region, including students from the regional university, came here.
Representatives of the administration of the city and the region, the Belgorod Metropolis, as well as the administration of universities and colleges of the region, became special guests of the student Easter.
At the festival, many beautiful words were spoken in honor of the coming Bright Sunday of Christ. The chairman of the Council of Rectors of the Belgorod Region, the President of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Anatoly Gridchin: “Student Easter appeared on the Belgorod region more than 15 years ago. By tradition, the main participants of this event are first-year students for whom this holiday is something new. I hope that today you will be remembered for a long time, and you will pass on this invaluable experience to your followers in the future.

An important part of the regional student Easter was the ceremony of granting fire to the best representatives of the student youth. After that, the Metropolitan of Belgorod and Starooskolsky John consecrated Easter cakes prepared by students.

After the official part, the guests moved to the holiday homesteads, where students organized mini-exhibitions of the best creative works in the Easter theme. Among the exhibits BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov could find Easter cakes, Easter crafts made of wood and paper, themed wreaths, festive compositions.
For guests worked entertainment. Vocal, choreographic and instrumental groups of the Belgorod region have prepared their creative numbers. The basic university of the region did not stand aside: the people's amateur group “The youth ensemble of the Cossack song of the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov ”performed several musical compositions dedicated to the Easter holiday.
