Shukhov Serbian Resource Center organized a public lecture on Serbian media
The meeting was held on the basis of the Faculty of Journalism of Belgorod State University and gathered students from several Belgorod universities and the youth part of the Serbian population in Belgorod.
The lecture was timed to the 20th anniversary of the NATO aggression against Yugoslavia. The Institute of the Serbian Language and Communications of the base university annually holds educational events on this memorable date. Among them are concerts, charity marathons, and actions designed to honor the memory of the victims of those events of 1999 that changed the world order.
In addition to military aggression, political pressure and economic blockade, information propaganda became an important element of the struggle at that time. Therefore, the main topic of the lecture was chosen by the media in Serbia at the beginning of the XXI century with their trends, as well as information wars. The speaker was Vladimir Sapunov, an expert from Voronezh State University - Professor, Doctor of Philology.
It should be noted that the topic of information wars and propaganda is interesting and useful both to specialists in the media sphere, and to all interested and read media.
