Representatives of the College of High Technologies visited the scientific and educational center of BSTU
The study tour was made by teachers and staff of the Department of Heat, Gas Supply and Ventilation.
The scientific and educational center is located in Belgorod at the address: 53 Gubkina Street. The teaching and production unit, in which the department of the TGV department is located, aroused great interest among teachers.
On a spacious, well-ventilated area there is equipment used by students studying the specialty "Installation and operation of internal plumbing devices, air conditioning and ventilation." Set on this specialty in a high-tech college plan to enter from the next academic year.
This equipment includes a guillotine, a galvanizing manual for cutting metal, a sheet bending machine for the production of finished products (parapets, castings and others), manual rollers for the production of round air ducts. Workbenches for metalworking, cutting band saws, drilling machines, welding machines, as well as zigovka for joining round duct connections were purchased for students.
On the territory there is a locker room with individual lockers, a master room and a storage room for spare parts and tools.
No less interest among the teaching staff was a visit to the laboratory of mobile robots, the composite section, the design department, the assembly section, and classrooms. One of them is equipped with an interactive whiteboard, modern computers and a multimedia projector.
