Joint exhibition of the flagship university and Belgorod Drama Theater
At the "Russian House" Museum and Exhibition Complex BSTU. V.G. Shukhov opened a unique exhibition dedicated to the Year of Theater in Russia. Assistance in its organization provided BGADT named after M.S. Schepkina.
The exhibition presents 57 sketches of scenography, 2 layouts of stage decoration, 8 posters, 14 photographic portraits of theater actors and 5 costumes from different performances. All exhibits to the university were kindly provided by the Belgorod State Academic Drama Theater.
“The idea of the exhibition is to show students, those who are just attached to theatrical art, the amazing world of theater. To tell how the play is created: from the sketch to the finished costume, from the sketch to the finished stage decoration, ”said Natalya Pochernina, head of the literary and dramatic section of the BGADT named after M.S. Schepkina.
At the opening of the exhibition, her guests could not only see the theater exhibits, but also see a small concert program.
Yana Shevelyova, vocal teacher, sang for the participants, actors Oksana Katanskaya and Vladimir Kubrikov showed a fragment of the literary and musical composition “War Interrupted Youth”, and Anna Lego presented the audience the story of Mikhail Zoshchenko “The Power of Talent”.
Present at the opening and vice-rector for cultural and educational work BSTU. V.G. Shukhov Irina Avilova. She congratulated everyone on the Year of the Theater and the opening of the theatrical exposition in the main university, and also handed letters of thanks on behalf of the university administration to the art director of the theater Viktor Slobodchuk, the head of the literary and dramatic part Natalia Pochernina and the main artist Marina Shepornyova.
