Award Professor of the Year 2018 awarded the head of materials science and technology materials department
The ceremony of presenting the national prize "Professor of the Year-2018" for outstanding scientific results took place in Moscow. The award is awarded in 18 nominations in accordance with scientific disciplines.
Prestigious award in the category "Technical Sciences" was awarded the head of materials science and technology materials department of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, Director of the Innovative Scientific-Educational and Experimental-Industrial Center for Nanostructured Composite Materials, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valeria Strokova.
Valeria Valerievna is also the head of the scientific school “Fundamental ideas about the typomorphism of mineral raw materials as a factor of structure formation in the processes of technological petrogenesis”.
Note: the nationwide award "Professor of the Year" was established in 2018 by the Russian Professorial Assembly in order to preserve and further develop the scientific potential of Russian science and higher education, to stimulate scientific and technological development, and to encourage outstanding scientific and pedagogical workers.
