About modern coatings and paints told at an online seminar
At the department of materials science and technology materials of the flagship university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - passed a scientific-practical seminar "Modern coatings and paints".
During the seminar, issues of the development of formulations, formulations and technologies of new effective coatings and paints and varnishes, problems existing in this field were discussed.
The seminar was attended by scientists from universities in Russia and abroad. Professor of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee KG Sobolev, using a conference call, spoke about the use of nano-additives to improve the quality of coatings.
Professor of the Department of Photography and Folk Artistic Culture of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Cinema and Television O.E. Babkin reported on current trends in the market for UV-curable industrial coatings.
